Amelia Kennedy
Experience and Qualifications
Following completion of my A-Levels, I began my career in teaching by obtaining a degree in Primary Education. I have taught children ranging from 2-16 including EAL and SEN. I gained further experience as a nursery nurse and a childminders assistant focusing on preparing early years children for school in London. Following this, I began tutoring full time in 2020.
I have A-Levels in History, English Literature and Health and Social Care, and a BA degree in Primary Education from Northumbria University where I specialised in the arts and humanities. In addition, I am first aid trained and have taken part in several other courses; including Prevent training, child protection and BR@P training.

Experience and Qualifications
I am a Cambridge graduate with over 20 years in teaching and seven as a tutor. I teach English, both language and literature and primary maths. I have a friendly and caring nature and aim to inspire and motivate my pupils to achieve their full potential. I prepare detailed lesson plans which are tailored to the pupil's needs.

I have a bachelor's degree in banking and finance and I am TESOL/TEFL certified. I have 5 years teaching experience, and I teach both children and adults. I am very patient, kind and understanding, I know students learn differently and at difference paces. This is why I always get to know my students and tailor my teaching to suit them best.

I have other 20 years experience in education, first as a TA, then 13 years as a qualified mathematics teacher in secondary schools. I have been teaching online since 2020 and full time since 2023. I am an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about the subject and believes everyone can reach their full potential with the correct support.

Alison Price
Experience and Qualifications
I graduated from Liverpool University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Applied Biochemistry.
I obtained a PGCE in 11-18 Science Education (Specialism Biology) in 2002 from the University of Leicester and have been teaching in excess of 20 years.
My first 11 years was spent in Secondary Education teaching Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics) to 11-16 year olds, part of which I was also Head of Department.
The last 11 years I have predominantly taught GCSE Biology & Chemistry and A Level Biology. I was the subject Leader for A level Biology at a Further Education College.
I am an enthusiastic reader of current Scientific Theory & Medical Research which helps students understand the relevance of Science and where it ‘fits’ in today’s ever changing technological Society.
I have always privately tutored individual students as well as led intervention/revision sessions for small groups throughout my career, which has evolved into online tutoring.
